As 2020 isn’t shit enough. Now another end of Oppo scare. Is there any way we can crowd fund this site? I’d rather pay a small subscription fee than deal with this shit storm of ads on the front page.

Discord sucks. It is just one huge stream of text. Forum posts, with tabbed replies - like here - is a must for me. Old school forums would actually be perfect.

I’d also like picture hosting, but that’s just a nice to have. I can go back to using Flickr and posting links; it’s what I did for that time period when you could only add pictures by URL.

I think most old type forums support hosting. It isn’t as nice as Kinja, but they work 99% of the time, where this fancy option sucks balls 99% of the time.

It is fucking amazing how they butchered these sites. Jalopnik at pre-Kinja, gold star days, was so good. Now, with all the shitty PC cross content, ads and auto play shit, it is unreadable.
