But did it run when he bought it?
Would definitely buy it if it didn’t have any major issue .

Yeah, the airbags are definitely fine on that one. No issues there.
“runs as strong as the day I bought..” = I bought it 6 months ago, running rough, no boost and a CEL and none of that has changed, despite me throwing $6k at it with the parts cannon

Nice price. Snatch it up.

Good point. If he bought it broken yesterday and is selling it today, it runs as good as the day he bought it.

In other news, at what point would you say a car has “very low miles?” Because I don’t think 193,000 miles counts on a 13 year old car.

2009 Toyota Tacoma with very low miles for sale.

sadly, not many enough new parts.....

The suspension has failed on this one

Semi new tires?

Gotta love Toyota truck prices, salvage title with almost 200k on it.

“Drive it away today!” = Please god end my suffering

You know that does look like a pretty cheap ride to get to the mountains this winter. If extra parking spaces didn’t cost $200/month...
Though that ride height does look a bit suspicious, but how hard could replacing the air suspension with springs/shocks/struts be?

Or is it stanced?
jk

Didn’t even notice that. It’s a high miles base RWD with a rebuilt title and it’s still significantly more valuable than many objectively better cars.

Or maybe it is:
clea n interior and semi
new tires
If it includes a semi truck the price all of a sudden doesn’t seem so bad.

Could also have lowered them using the 402 mod .

Yeah I love seller logic of “well they say 12- 15k/year is normal and this is a 40 year old car with 200k miles, so it must be low miles!” Though even by that logic this one is a bit of a head scratcher ....
![]() 11/04/2020 at 10:04 |

The odometer only shows 93k miles, so there is a discrepancy
somewhere.
![]() 11/04/2020 at 10:05 |

Not just low miles. Very low miles.
I assume you didn’t mean 40 year old car but even at that age this wouldn’t be considered very low miles. I think that distinction runs out at around 100k miles even for old cars.

The bottom end of the SUV/truck market confuses me, I don’t understand why people pay so much for miles/year./condition .
![]() 11/04/2020 at 10:06 |

it wasn’ t that bad when I did it on mine. there is an added step of disconnecting / reconnecting the air lines. but the issue could go beyond the air bags to a leak somewhere else or a blown compressor or control box. audi doesn’ t make them any more so you have to go aftermarket which is available .

Same here. When I was looking for my current car I test drove a 2005 Pathfinder with 200k miles before my 2012 Cruze with 100k miles for the same price. And I don’t even think the Pathfinder was a 4WD yet that was in better condition/newer/less miles than the other ones I looked at.

Didn’t notice that. Huh, so there is just an extra 1 there. Still not what I would call “very low miles.”

“ Runs as strong as the day I bought it”
What he’s not saying is that he bought it a week ago and it was also a like then.

Why fix the suspension. Just get some big deep dish wheels and be a stancy boi
![]() 11/04/2020 at 10:17 |

I think cars need suspensions so wheels stay on the ground and to keep them from breaking when I hit a pothole? (not that anything would ever break on an early 2000s Audi)

For an 11 year old Toyota, that is fairly low honestly. My 2006 Land Cruiser has 290k on it. With most
Toyota trucks
or SUVs
you see that are
more than 5 years old, it’s hard to find anything under 100k miles.

i know what it means when it sits that low. and its an auto.... not so nope

That reminds me of an FP or Oppo comment years ago where the commenter said they pronounce Volvo’s Polestar as Pol-estar. Once heard you cannot unhear.

Dang you! I'll never not be able to hear that.
I used to think the Veloster was pronounced Velo-star. Used to, mind you. I have learned the error of my former ways.
