wonder if that young woman is an engineer or just really likes high speed wind tunnels...

Is the Vulcan bigger than I thought, or is the B52 just reeeaaally far in the background?

There’s actually a series of those photos. Not really sure what NASA had in mind.

I think it’s a bit of both.

Great hodgepodge of photos. Do any airworthy Vulcans remain?
Also, I bet Glenn Curtis's dapper suit absorbed plenty of engine oil.

Last airworthy Vulcan was retired a few years ago. I think they might still take it out and taxi it around, but I’m not sure. Skyfire77 would know.

Sometimes a human figure is placed to give relative scale to the model, in the same way a human face is used to judge color on film prints.
Hey, T-man, thanks for all the great stories and information over the years. I really looked forward to TWIAH, not to mention all the cool bar shots. Yer da best!

Thanks, Vespas. Worry not, it will continue. I’ve just got to figure out the best way to move forward. It takes a bit of time to get everything entered and formatted on either Hyphen or DT, and I’ve been wanting to make my own website for a long time now. So I think what I really want to do is put all the effort into building a website and then give links to the other places. We’ll see.
Thanks again. It’s been a lot of fun.

the fuselage of the b52 isn’t that big.
