This post reminds me of when I was a kid. We visited some family friends in the Florida Keys and spent a week on their sailboat. I don't recall where we were specifically, but we were anchored off the coast of this small island amongst some other boats and wondered why no one was on the beach. It looked like the perfect place to relax. So we took the dinghy to check it out, made landfall, and were greeted by approximately 10 bazillion mosquitoes. All the mosquitoes. We then realized why no one was on the beach. Mosquito island.
