I think this GIF pretty well sums things up these days.

Was that supposed to be a cheese fountain?

Agreed. But I will say that that his video
s made me smile
and also
made me really hungry. I was supposed to be good today and not eat junk
food but that’
s going out the window now. Will be ordering fried chicken later today.

At least he got it on his next try. Giving me hope we can salvage something good by the end of 2020.

Yes. But he didn’t heat the cheese first. There is a follow up video where he succeeds, but it’s still hilarious watching him cringe while waiting to get slapped by molten cheese.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, why is a fountain spinning?

Just his 3rd YouTube video. I doubt if he’ll be able to catch the lightning again... He’d better milk this for all it’s worth!

It uses an Archimedes screw to get the delicious cheese to the top of the fountain.

A cheese fountain... what an evil contraption !
Good luck cleaning it .

My guess is that’s going right in the trash after the video.

Ah yes, the auger pulls the goodness up, I never knew how those damn things worked....assumed it was some sort of pump but this makes way more sense. Now, let's talk about why the eff it wanted to take flight.

The cheese wasn’t sufficiently melty. In a followup video, he added milk to the cheese to thin it, and it works. You can see the videos here on Kotaku.
