Our oldest and I made a candy chute last weekend. Got it set up earlier in the day to make sure it works. Looks like I’ll be manning it for the evening. I have no idea how many kids to expect.

We decided to go with a non-scary elephant. I think there’s usually lots of younger children around. I don’t think they’d appreciate taking candy from a demagorgan or a dinosaur mouth.

Edit: had maybe 20-25 kids so far.

Edit 2: had maybe 50-60 kids total. A bit less than previous years, but not by too much. Other places in the neighborhood usually get more, and that sounds like it was the case again this year.

There’s probably still time to fix it & make it look like candy is coming out of a butt. Tootsie Rolls &  Baby Ruths (Babies Ruth?)!

Let me think.... Run the shop compressor up to about 150 PSI, pneumatic valve actuators... Those Atomic Fireballs should be about Mach 2.2 when they exit the elephant’s mouth.

I think there was some subliminal inspiration there. My 5 year old designed it, but my wife added the glasses after. It definitely does look like it came from a Piggie and Gerald book now.
