In the U.K., would a “frunk” be referred to as a “Foot”?

No... it would still be a frunk. It would not be a foot. But I’m sure some git or some limey will call it a fooot.

Seems to me that c alling it a “frunk” (front trunk) would constitut e a confirmation/ admission that trunk is indeed the proper term for the rear version.
