Great pole position from Bottas; f ingers crossed that he can actually battle with Hamilton this weekend.

It’s another fun track to watch in qualifying, although I wish they’d stop with the track limits nonsense and just apply it consistently across every track. Driver must have at least one wheel touching the white lines at the edge of all tracks, or something simple rather than arbitrarily allowing or prohibiting track cutting/extending.

Hopefully the race will be fun tomorrow, but even if it’s not the most exciting I think I’ll still enjoy it; who knows when we’ll see another GP at Imola again?

tbh..im in camp if its paved its track...grass and gravel and walls everywhere and track limits wont be an issue

i realize there are some safety concerns tho...

I’d be fine with that, too, they should just make it consistent from track to track!

Also, it’s not like Hamilton usually has much to overtake anyway, so maybe that’s what he’s talking about. There’s no overtaking for him  so maybe Bottas will have a chance tomorrow.

Well he is trying haha, Hamilton is just better, but the car is just so much better than the others. Almost any driver there could pull off a WDC with it, they might not be so far out in front on points as Hammy but I reckon any one of the more talented drivers could put on a similar show.
