I autocrossed last weekend, which is always a cheat code to see cool cars. This post is dedicated to photos from the autocross of some of my favorite runners (not my photos) and also to some wild cars I saw in passing. These photos range from last Sunday to today.

Dear god, the wing on that NB. The understeer must last for ages.

It came in first in it’s class by nearly 2 seconds. We were averaging around 42 seconds in the fast cars.
Gooseneck wing be damned, that thing didn't care. One of the fastest cars out there and it's still NA.

Well if he can make it work, more power to him. I can only imagine the fuel economy to and from the track with all that downforce.

I don’t know how street-able it is at this point; no interior. Came to the event in a closed trailer.
Any time I come across that level of racecar, I'm on board.

The Redline guys have good taste. Something like 6 years ago, I did a Fall Foliage drive and they came along. They brought a Japanese Formula Drift R34 Skyline to a backroads drive. It made something like 500 horsepower on low boost with a built RB26. The n oise was absurd.
The TME really got my attention as we have a family affinity for the early Evo s. Sent that one over to my dad and got this as a response. The Ralliart-built Evo they had shipped over to run as a team in One Lap of America, circa sometime around 1999. Wish it was still kicking around, but whereabouts unknown.

Oh that looks super fun. I keep wanted to buy a second car and turn mine in to a dedicated track car but apparently you need something called “
disposable income”
for that

So good to see someone still twisting a Dime in anger. Kudos to them!
