No replacement for displacement.
I like to think each stud is a piston so it’s a very weird V16.

That is the coolest Lego thing I have ever seen. Will you please mail it to me?

They’re almost big enough

The 28.5L I4 engine in the S76 was out of an aircraft too.

This thing is likely about 25L in scale displace ment , noice!

That took less than five minutes.

And I’m going to use model cement when I assemble it.

I tried to order the annual Christmas set. It’s on back order. I should get it in January.

That’s illegal.
But if you do, get the brush kind and use it sparingly.

Stacked V8s...
Some old 2 stroke racing motorcycles used “Square 4s”, basiclly 2 inline 2 cylinders with the crankshafts geared together.
In this configuration I imagine a smaller V8 nestled in the valley of another V8.

Yeah, but with a teeny tiny stroke. That means it revs like an F1 car probably....

That’s what kind I ordered and I’ll have to wait longer for it. Who do you think told me that’s the kind?
I apologize for affronting your sensibilities on that, but that’s what I’m going to do.

I have glued two Legos in my life, and both felt so wrong. They were both sets belonging to the kids, and they kept coming apart when they played with them. The downside was that one fell off the shelf and a piece broke because it couldn’t release energy by coming apart.
I seem to recall that too much brush on glue caused some of the parts to melt.

I'm okay with that.

Not as elegant or creative as yours, but I will enjoy looking at this one nonetheless.

I have improved the plane:
Life’s treating me... okay. Quarantine kinda sucks, but it could be worse.
Why have you decided to glue your model? Lego designed these things to be pretty durable already, it should be plenty tough as-is. Besides, this set is a three-in-one model, so you can build this airplane, a jet, or a helicopter if you want.
![]() 10/29/2020 at 23:07 |

I just want it for a display.
![]() 10/29/2020 at 23:09 |

That’s fair. Although even as a display, I’d still argue that it’s durable enough with out glue.
