I t was r ed with manufacturers plates. First impressions were fairly positive. It was smaller and lower than I expected. Reminded me of a slightly lowered CX-7 with a Mustang rear valance and tail lights. The tail light LED effects were kinda cool.
There w asn’t much of a wow factor though. All-in-all , my impression is that of a mustang that goes for beer and burgers 3 nights a week.

I haven’t seen one yet, but that’s exactly my expectation.
It’s pretty swoopy and muscular... for a CUV.
But considering the wide range of CUVs that have been sold over the past 20 years, that’s a fairly common styling point to aim for.

Not sure met him in the McDonals drive thru then and we were in traffic. It didn’t turn into the Ford dealer when I turned onto 203rd to take the bridge.
It was an older guy driving. Maybe they are doing stuff at the skid pad at the airport, or, probably just on a marketing dog&pony to the local dealers.

I’m thinking whether
Ford should tease and
do a complete Mustang
Mach-R-E or if this has been thoroughly
sufficient
.

Poor people at cars and coffee, they will never hear what hit them.

Maybe I’m softening to the idea of these. I still am a bit jaded by misuse of the Mustang name but eh.. It’s not the worst atrocity in the auto market. And buyers will love it - maybe that’s the real problem.

It wasn’t offensive per se.

saw one at a pre-covid car show. I thought it looked awesome but I am not 100% on board with the mustang name.

It really depends on the trim level and color with this car.
My wife was on the HMI/UI/UX team for the Mustang Mach-E and I got to see (didn’t get to ride or sit in it) it up close wasn’t the greatest looking. It was burgandy (sp?) and had ugly wheels. She’s gotten to drive it a couple times and she loves it. We’ll probably get one next year.
Silver or white looks good IMO. Also the Mach-E GT looks good even if the grille is fake.
I’d
put some better looking wheels and probably lower it a bit.
