You are correct. They don’t even start with an appropriate car. The last picture of the 8 wheeler started as a Toyota Yaris. I don’t imagine any of them are street legal.

I like the second last one. I’d love to learn how they make shaped glass (or plexiglass?) like that for a one off vehicle .

This is really is the modern
spirit of the old school show-rods - it's fantastically creative craftsmanship. Maybe I'm reading the wrong magazines but I feel like this kinda thing is sorely missing from the car culture in the west now.
