Sundance resort posted these on their Instagram story recently. They have a video As well but I don’t think you can link that. I think these are from a fire that is now out but I could be wrong.

10 Tanker keeps those DC-10's chugging right along. I saw one of them (Tanker 911 if I remember correctly) out here in California a few months back when we were dealing with wildfires.

Blame the police for this one(why it's called range fire) . It was only 50% contained two days ago so I doubt it’s all the way out yet.

I wonder what sort of water quality issues we’re going to see after a few more fire seasons like this. That stuff is mostly made from a mmonia phosphate. It would be pretty interesting to study the lo ng term effects on foliage as well. I’m predicting some not very good knock on effects in our future.
