I love that car and want want want it, the only thing is, the A/C doesn’t work.
I had a Corolla with a 4A-FE, the A/C started leaking out Freon , and you couldn’t get R-12 any more. So a mechanic installed new valves, flushed the system, and filled it with R-134A. True, i t wasn’ t as ice-cold as it had been, but it was sufficient for Florida summers.
All I’m saying is, you want a premium price for a very old car in s
upposedly extra-good condition, and
the A/C can be fixed, then
it should be fixed, before you place that ad.

Early 2nd gen ones have it too. Most people seem to upgrade to the very short 93+ shifter design:
I’m sure what percentage of MR2 drivers do that for ergonomics, and what percentage are uncomfortable with the stock appearance . Mine’s still stock, but that’s a sample size of one (1) and not super insightful.
