Bronco Configurator is live, and very slow. Have fun.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Also, what is this BS Ford?!
No locking diffs with the manual?! I knew the Sasquatch package wasn’t available, but I can’t even get locking diffs? Way to kill off the manual sales Ford. Guess I’d have to go aftermarket for my hypothetical Bronco that I really want to buy. Or just deal with open diffs like I have my entire life.

Manual squatch is coming, just not configurable yet.

I went pretty simple, base, 7 speed manual in velocity blue. Added a few accessories like sound deadening for the top,
upgraded bumper
, block heater, keyless entry pad, auxiliary
switches, the soft top,
and floor mats. Total price, $32,329. Honestly not too bad, I’ve got a few years left to pay off
my truck, and probably should buy my wife a car first, but I might actually pick one of these up a few years from now when the hype dies down and hopefully some incentives are on the table. I’ve never been this excited for a new vehicle.

If you want any off the offroad goodness you loose the manual. Honestly I’d probably settle for the open diffs and upgrade later on down the line. My use case for the Bronco would be for gravel road and forest road driving, which I’ve managed to do with zero troubles even with my open diff longboi crew cab/6.5 bed F-150. The Bronco would do better on tight er trails, but when it comes to serious trail riding I’m sticking with the dirtbike/atv.

Officially confirmed? I’ve heard the rumors which would be great. I’m at least 3-5 years out from buying one anyway so if it’s available then that would be awesome.

That’s almost the exact spec I configured!

It’s really all I need, plus a couple of extra nice-to-haves. I mean, I’d love to have the fully kitted out one, but trying to be realistic as this is something I actually want to buy that’s where I end up.

Rear locking diff is available with the manual on t he Badlands trim. It is standard there. I think it has something to do with the overall mix of axle ratios and trims. That said you’d think got would be an option on the base for the more serious off road crew that wants to spec all the mechanical goodies and could care less about LED headlights and fancy rims.
Personally I’d rather have the automatic anyway. Not once have I been on trail in my Raptor and thought it would be better with a manual. I like just pointing it at rocks and one pedal driving. I guess I’m not hardcore or whatever but the thought of dealing with some of the crap out here in a manual just doesn’t seem fun at all to me. You can pry my manual road car out of my cold dead hands but if I trade my truck for a Bronco (which has crossed my mind but only once the dealer markups go away) it’s going to be a 2.7L/auto and you won’t hear any complaints from me that they didn’t offer a manual with it.

Yeah, Mike Levine confirmed it.

I’ll have to check that out, on the little info button it says that the lockers are available on all Broncos, but when you add it it automatically adds the Sasquatch package and drops the manual. If it’s available on the Badlands you’d figure it would be an option everywhere. Maybe just an error in the configurator or hopefully they’ll add it as an option later?
The auto is certainly easier and arguably better for trail riding and crawling, but my use case for the Bronco is more for fun cruising and occasional rough forest roads. I’m not going to be hardcore off roading in the thing. Hell I haven’t found a road yet that I couldn’t tackle with my stock CC long bed F-150. I know of trails that it couldn’t handle, but that’s what the dirtbike and ATV’s are for.

Good good, well then in 3-5 years time I know what’s at the top of the list. Time to save!

I wouldn’t buy the base Wrangler because I like power windows but the base Bronco is very well equipped for its price point.

I just realized you meant front and rear lockers... the site is a little confusing but I think the front lockers are also there on the Badlands manual... looks like the only way to get the front locker on other trims is the Sasquatch package which means automatic.

Actually just the rear locker was all I was trying to option. Based on the configurator you can’t get them on the base trim with manual, you gotta go to higher trim, or automatic to get them.
Just looked at the configurator and you can option the rear locker with manual on the Big Bend, which is one step above the base. I just can’t imagine why they wouldn’t let you option the lockers on the base.
