It’s very different, but very good. They have a tendency to mix sweet and savory flavors in o ne dish. Lots of saffron & turmeric too.

Went to morocco 2 years ago. Food was consistently very good but the menu is typically pretty limited. Basically pick a meat and choose if you want it in a tajine or kabob.
They serve fresh olives as bar snacks though, and it has absolutely ruined all other olives for me. A coworker did a very high-end olive sampler for a Christmas pot luck (the best kalamata olives in there must have been $25 a pound) and I was like “yeah they’re just OK”
