So I went through three video interviews today, I was just supposed to talk to the HR guy but then he says, oh I have a cancellation and I can get you in soon... 15min... so I set up a sheet backdrop and lights in ten minutes. Oh did I mention that I haven’t cut my hair since before the lockdown started? I combed it back to look good on camera and went with it. They said we get a Ford Ranger, PC, phone and a gas card, paid when we leave home til we get home. So I have the one last interview that the HR guy says is exactly the same as the webcam interview, they want to compare stories I guess. I have a simple story. Nice to have a mask though, don’t have to fake smile or wonder what dumb expression you are making. Oh and that F250 in the pics said it was a Roush, had all kinds of em blems on it and extra trim stuff.

Grand Wagoneer, FJ-6x, nice selection, but what’s that lovely first car?

70s and 80s Benz bumpers (US Market) make me cringe.
My C107 needs a bumper nip-and-tuck.
Nice collection today though! Even a wild Taycan in it’s native heath-- Marin.

It must be a 1940s British car, it looks familiar but I don’t know them really well. It’s not American, they were all huge, these looked like that style but small.

Thats at the Sonnen Porsche dealership. I was passing by, but I have seen four in the wild. I would like euro bumpers for my W123, but thats way down the list of things I need to do.

Good luck with the job. I know that even though I could “afford” to not work for a while I’d go nuts, absolutely nuts.

It was clearly a sign that your drive was full of classic Germans, possibly moreso than usual. Glad things seem to be moving along great.

I love not working, I have plenty to do, the problem is health insurance and expenses. I am getting unemployment and extras but you can’t do projects and live with that very well. I would like to not sell the Z, I would like to do more with the truck and make it just what I want... It’s the smart thing to do. I always say I can’t wait to be retired, I’m a beach bum. Did you see my post yesterday from the Z shop?

Well thats kind of the norm around here, but yeah it was above average for a short trip to and from the dog park. I see those rare BMW coupes sometimes, a few around here.

I missed it, now I read it. Looks like a lot of brake work getting done. I’d like to visit that shop one day. I always like looking at Z’s.

Oh they have tons of Zs, all generations, there were more down the street but we were busy with brakes, it was brake day. 1950s Dodge and newer Acura.

Wait, I’m missing something, I think. Your interviews were on the computer, but you wore a mask? Did I read that wrong?
Also, not assuming you wanted your hair cut, but I did and figured it would be a good time to experiment with doing it myself. It’s not as hard as I thought it would be. I’ve been cutting it myself since March and haven’t scared any children yet.

Definitely seems like above average Benz density.

Oh I had three videos and then this Friday we have to go to a last interview outside at their headquarters . If I was just going to be a bum I would probably just let my hair grow for fun. I used to cut my hair short myself for years in the military but I can’t do something normal.

Well good luck.
I just bought some clippers cheap and watched a couple of YT vids. It started out a bit janky, but it’s better. It helps to have the optional wife attachment to get the back.

Is that other pup a another Frenchie or a Boston? I’d guess Frenchie based on the lack of facial markings and the stocky stance, but neither is a sure thing (my parents’ stocky Boston is always getting mistaken for a Frenchie)

It’s a Frenchie, the brindles often have the tuxedo chest but not the face like a Boston. Sylvie actually has white that goes up to her chin. Yeah chonky Bostons make me look.

I have an appointment tomorrow with my guy, he was in the Swedish Navy and cut hair there for everyone. I can do a high and tight myself but I don’t want to be like that. I’ve had the same Wahl clippers for twenty years I bet.

Nothing like having your regular guy go over it and hit the reset button occasionally. I have a little old Asian lady who does that for me. She cuts my wife’s and since my daughter was born her hair too.
