Oppo PSA. I rarely see anything on BaT go for under 10k, and this seems like a pretty intriguing van. Currently bidding is a lot lower than, say, a VW would go for.

That is a dangerous price so far, I must restrain myself. I’d rather have the similar Dodge van but this one is cool.

When I was in the Scouts, my Webelos troop leader drove one of these. His was yellow and black, painted at home using house paint a roller. It had jalousie windows all around. The one time I rode in that van, I was sitting in the back while all the windows were open. The air was coming in so fast, I felt as if I was being suffocated. I moved to the front asap.

I think in large part due to the fact that it is a cargo spec and not built out as a camper.
But I really want that modded Renault Le Car/5 in the background.

Real wood trim in exposed grain that somehow avoids adding the luxury feel and goes for the “ barn stall” feel instead. I really like the vibe this thing gives off.

My uncle has a Bronco II he painted with a roller. It is a combination of black and d ar k blue Rustoleum because that’s what he had. He refers to it as custom painted.

Indeed. Weirdly my browser was caching it at $ 6300 even when time was up, no matter how often I refreshed it. Bidding went crazy at the end.

If it doesn’t look poorly done than I’m okay with it. At the time, it’s was an old van and not worth paying for a fancy paint j ob. I dated a girl who’s dad did large sections of factory color touch up paint with house paint brush from a one quart can. Again, it was an older car and looked fine from 20 feet away.
