Long time indeed! I’ve been well all things considered, how about yourself?
I’m minus a Ford Ranger and a Honda Grom. Also plus a VW alltrack and an old Bimmer since I last saw ya around here.

Hey stranger. Mrs. addiction and I are thankfully still employed and healthy. Life is getting more and more normal around here, within reason. Kids are in sports and I’ll be starting to help coach basketball soon.

Alltrack is good, got it for dad duty. Couple of mods, APR tune.
The Bimmer is a 1975 1502 Hotrod.

Thanks! Crawled out of my dreams and onto BaT. Didn’t meet reserve, made a deal with the seller and imported it from Amsterdam. It was an Anxiety filled two months I will re-post about it on the anniversary 11/8

I haven’t been on as much since about June, either. Was furloughed in June then had a (pre-planned) week’s vacation, then gave 2 weeks’ notice on my first day back and started a new job teaching at a private school. Trying to teach an AP class in a subject I’m learning as we go, and trying like hell to keep myself sane and my family happy, not always succeeding. But we are healthy and employed and my kids are back in school, so can’t complain really. How’re you? Accords are great, I’ve had a few and loved them dearly.

I have a friend who’s teaching at a private school right now, must be very challenging. They’re still not having any children in for in person schooling, but she’s still required to drive in to her classroom and do her zooms from there. I’ve been doing okay.

Yes, it is starting to fade on the trunklid and roof though. Paints all chipped up and scratched up close but I believe I’m only the second or third owner so I ain’t complaining .

It’s always surprising when you see a vehicle with terrible faded and scratched paint that you didn’t think was that old. When I see a car that always has terrible paint that doesn’t have those issues, it’s the reverse. Better keep it out of the sun.
My dad's 02 Tundra has the infamously fragile green paint which looks glorious but it's been through a few too many car washes and still looks way better than most. Well, the 4/5 of the truck that fits under the car port.

Yeah I just polished & waxed it and I think that’s about as good as it’ll ever be. I try to, it’s parked outside though. With all that sitting under covid I might get a cover for it.

Oh, we’re in person AND remote, I have a class with kids in the room, and other kids on zoom simultaneously. It’s ... interesting. The kids are pretty stir crazy from having a ton of restrictions, too. We’re starting to see it come out on the disciplinary side...

We’re all kind of getting used to masks, but yeah it’s hard and the kids definitely aren’t always following the rules when no one is looking (or they think no one is looking). Some kids got in trouble last weekend for making out, which might normally be a “hey don’t do that” but this year it’s an actual policy violation.
