yeeeaaah.....not entirely sure how i pulled that one off

guess ill add brushing my teeth to the list of things farscythe cant do without hurting himself

(seriously....normally when i put paste on a brush it does not attack me....fuckin 2020 man)

Hmm, I usually come dangerously close to the opposite mistake, trying to put stuff that’s not toothpaste on my toothbrush. Apparently when you are tired any tube seems good enough.

But you can put eye drops in your mouth even if they aren't exactly abrasive enough to brush your teeth. How about you do it again to make sure?

I’ve come dangerously close to putting petroleum jelly on my toothbrush on multiple occasions. I can’t keep that tube anywhere near the sink anymore...

That’s not quite true, also there isn’t any Hyd rogen Fluoride, only Sodium Fluoride in toothpaste. So, worrying about HF in toothpaste is like worrying about HCl in table salt.

The biggest issue with the toothpaste is its abrasiveness (and possibly bleaching agents depending on brand/type). If you have “whitening” toothpaste, that often contains hydrogen peroxide which you definitely don’t want in your eyes. Toothpaste is basically like a buffing compound (which is why you can use it to restore headlights).

I did this once. I was applying the paste to my toothbrush and I watched as the last row of bristles launched a tiny drop directly into my eyeball. Quite painful. It was like a slow moving train wreck, all I could do was watch it into my eye.

Yeah, his biggest concern would be scratching his cornea, which is bad but not typically permanent ( and as long as he didn’t really rub the toothpaste in shouldn’t be too bad).
