!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! It’s also about $41k CAD. What the heck did the previous owner buy here? Hopefully a WRX STi and not an Ascent.

454 with 0.060 over pistons.

I’m guessing someone inherited the Elko and was too lazy to sell it properly.

I think someone got it from a dad or something, and the wife made him trade it in for a ‘new, safer car for the kids’
stupid fucking people.

I could only respect a dealer who would keep it for himself.

There’s a Hyundai dealer (!) north of Houston which carries a rolling inventory of classics. Here’s their inventory as of tonight:
They also have this little gem in stock (no price):
I’m betting they would like to forget the time when cousin Ralph went on an SSR kick and wouldn’t stop buying them.

Is that a Prowler at the end of the row of SSRs?

Yes it is.

This is why I am unlikely to ever get married. If my wife told me to get rid of my Killer Queen, we'd be getting divorced faster than a Hot New York Second.

My wife made the mistake of making me sell a car exactly once.
That was over 15 years ago and is the discussion ender for any other time she has thought about mentioning it.

I always liked the idea of that car. The execution left a lot to be desired, but for the right price I could be convinced to buy one on the used market.

I want that

The weirdest trade in we giot when I worked at a dealership was a 71 Mustang Boss. The lady that traded it in had won it at a Casino on the other side of town. She traded it and her 03 Taurus for a new Escape. The restoration on it was a total hack job. The stripes on the hood weren’t even straight. It was a 20mph 20 feet away restoration

Right, if it is always for sale then dealer plates/insurance covers them.

Valid point.

Kicking myself. The dealer would also be able to avoid any registration fees or taxes. It’s pretty genius .

It is! When I first spotted this place, they had several Prowlers, include at least one awful custom one.
