Saturday was MrsGolem and I’s 11th anniversary. We ended up spending 4 hours broken down on the side of the road. The tranny in her 2020 Soul started acting up so we turned around to grab my car when the revs went through the roof like it was stuck in 1st or something. Luckily we were planning on hiking so we had water and snacks. Ended up watching Netflix
on my phone like some weird drive-in date
Car should be all covered by warranty so that’s nbd.
After we got her car dropped at the dealership and got into my car we figured we’d cancel our hiking plans and go home and have a fire and get drunk. So then it starts thundering and lightening and raining like crazy. That’s how I ended up spending my anniversary drinking whiskey in my garage watching the lightning
LittleGolem and LittlestGolem ended going and getting us some baked goods to surprise us though so that was really sweet.

My parents are celebrating their 60th anniversary this week. Due to Covid, I cooked them up some dinner on the grill, and my wife
got them a wonderful framed commemoration from the Vatican. Here’s hoping for 49 more years for your marriage.

It has an “IVT” which is a CVT but with more computers. Guess it needed a software update to fix it. What a time to be alive.

Mrs. Shop Teacher and I celebrated our 10th last Friday, by completely forgetting about it until an automated Facebook post reminded me. We ordered delivery pizza that night, and did literally nothing else.
