I was watching a double clutch video in an old Studebaker pickup, it did not look fun. My truck has a downshift that should be done that way so I was seeing a pro do it.

The only thing I’ve driven that required double clutching was an ancient aircraft tug. We had two other tugs, but had to use the older one for some of the really big business jets and on the rare occasion a tail dragger came in that was too big to move by hand.
Just the few times I drove that was enough to show me I don’t want a road vehicle that needs it.
