Here is my video of Subaru traffic simulator 2020. It was an hour of driving in bumper to bumper traffic with a few hundred other subarus of all sorts. Mostly WRXs and STis but plenty of others strewn throughout as well. Kind of like a rolling car show. I enjoyed the “NO ENGINE REVVING” signs which were often ignored. A neat Covid friendly massive event though. I enjoyed the cars on display. They had 3 original 22bs on display although that was a quick bit in this video since I sped it up 10x to make it bearable.

I saw that this broke a lot of records! I wish I had a Subaru worthy of this kind of show. What was your favorite car in attendance?

Would it be too big of a flex to show up in a 360? Seemed like 90s and up Subarus only from what I could tell. Lots of Crosstrecks.

That Brat camper was neat.

That would be the best thing to show up in! The group I went with had an SVX which was pretty cool. WAYYYY too many corsstrecks in general. The local dealership we met at for a raffle ahead of the event (plus free donuts!) had like 99% crosstreks on display for sale. That is probably the last subaru I would ever be interested in... Even the Ascent is cooler than that turd!

There was an identical Aspen white hawkeye (but with the wing)
I could see in one of the rows a few over from me. So I enjoyed my near twin. Surprising to me how it was like 75%+ of the 2015+ WRX or STi sedans.

I saw the SVX and the Impreza coupe (?) but it was mostly just modern WRXs and Imprezas with some BRZs i t seemed.
Now if you showed up in an old Leon. . .
Any Subaru Bajas ?

Actually Im surprised I didnt see any Bajas! But I was only there for a small subset of it. It wasnt like a cars n coffee where people park around and group things together due to the nature of the event. I was happy to see the few BRZs though, they often are ostracized from the Subaru community. The modern wrxs was my observation although there were a lot more foresters than I thought I would see.

Modified Foresters are pretty cool though.
I don't get saying the BRZ isn't a real Subaru. It's not AWD but it's got a boxer engine and is suitably slow (hehe) so what gives? They're cool.

I think the BRZ/FRS/86 owner is a different demographic than the wrx/sti sort of person. I enjoy that difference though for sure. Hence why I have the Subie and a Miata. If I were to get out of the miata game, Id probably replace it with one of the 86 twins rather than looking at an ND/RF.

If you think about it, most two row modern Subarus are driven by the same sort of person (I think the Ascent skews a little further from the adventurous side).
I’d really want to show up in one of these though.

That’s awesome, though it seems like you’d be looking at the tail end of the same Subaru for a while... so get used to it. Glad it was Covid friendly, I’ve always liked the idea of car parades because who doesn’t want to be apart of a great big convoy?
Albeit your convoy is a little different from this one but still.
