I saw this otherwise-completely-stock-but-lowered pickup in the parking lot of the local Michelin factory today. The ridiculously low front lip gave it away as I walked up to it...

I love lowered pickups. They're so uncommon but you can always tell a man of taste. Especially when it is a lowered single cab like that.

A former roommate had a slammed 2014 S ilverado 2WD. It was awesome.

Agreed, short box, non-extended cab and lowered without going too low.
What you call a s ingle cab is called standard cab, right?

That's probably not that far off from the stock height of pickups in the '80s

I hate all trucks expect lowered one...idk why i like those buggers

If I had a truck I’d want to lower it.

They look cool, but I’d never
do it!

It was pretty neat, but not my thing...I like my pickups to be as practical as they can be, lol.

Yeah, true....I’d rather see them lowered than super unsafe sketchy lift kits which put the trucks bumper coming through any small car’s rear window over the trunk in an accident...

That does look pretty cool!

Yeah, they’re not my thing, but this one did look pretty cool in such a pretty base-spec form!

Lower is better. Wish I could bag mine to drop it a bit more.

used to be standard, like a stick

Modern full-size trucks actually get more practical when you lower them. The ride heights and beltlines are so damn high, they're hard to load the bed. Lower it down, problem solved.

That generation of truck looks particularly good lowered.

More modern trucks need to be like Zoidberg’s old longbed....less ‘macho’ and ‘off-roady’ and more ‘work’....that’s what they’re supposed to be for! :(

I agree. You don’t even have to go that far back. The GMT-800 trucks, like my '06 Sierra, have a perfectly workable ride and beltline height.

Yup, I agree!
