I have this still new, unopened in the box. My family bought it for me probably three or more years ago for my birthday. I’d build it, but I have nowhere to put it.

However, every time my wife tut-tuts me for looking at new Legos, she says, “You have no place to put it.”

Me: “You say that like it’s a problem.”

Y eah, finding room for the finished works is always a challenge, though I usually just hang up the planes, and I can always store or toss old ones.

Even worse though,  are my works in progress, partially or fully abandoned.

I’ve still  got a B-26 that I started about 30 years ago. I did a really great job detailing the pilot and the cockpit, painted the fuselage, but then got hung up on the D-Day stripes. I wish I had known then that the stripes were put on hastily and messily back in 1944. I might not have cared that mine looked terrible. It would have been period correct. I could still finish it, but I think one of the wing spars broke off.
