They make good campers. It drives me nuts the windshield doesn’t go down. Maybe you could install one from a regular truck with some modification.

Here's mine, from back when I was in service. Riding in the cupola during field exercises was probably the most fun I’ve ever had in a job.

M113, we still use these aluminum marvels as frontline vehicles here in Brazil. This is the one I commanded back when I was in the army, it could be quickly converted from an ambulance to a squad car, but we usually ran it on some middle ground of driver, commander 6 riflemen  and 2 stretchers for wounded personnel.
