Well, technically the earlier DOTS was from yesterday.

Nice double park there. Mk ii Twingo in silver?

Yep, you are starting to be good at that little game :)

And we’ve been over the beige Citroen C4 Picasso. Can’t quite place the featureless black hatchback. Renault Clio? Red car looks like a Toyota Aygo or something like it. No real clear sightlines to any others besides the Fiesta.
I may be improving but you could step up your game. This is a little blurry but doable. Just a random photo from the archives that wasn’t particularly concerned with including traffic.

Nope, it’s a champagne C4 (non Picasso which are MPVs while this is a hatchback), behind it there is a garage-themed Fiesta next to the usual C3.
The black one is a Clio 4 diesel (a dCi engine), behind it there is a blue Open Astra Coupé Bertone then a VW van.
The red is indeed an Aygo and behind it another white Twingo 2.

On your photo i would say.... on the bottom : a Rogue and a Jeep, on top of it a Kia then an Altima then on the middle a Mitsubishi ASX, a Civic Si and a Toyota something.

I guess I should have known. So that’s what the Picasso designation means.
You did indeed recognize the white Rogue in the front but what you mistook for a Mitsubishi is another same gen Rogue. I had to look this up but what you called an ASX is sold here as the Outlander Sport. The regular Outlander is unrelated and larger and the small crossover keeps the name just to be confusing.
The silver Jeep in the foreground is the infamous Commander, called “unfit for human consumption” by its designer.
The next two are hard. A tasteless Infiniti QX80 and a Chevy Impala that was a little too blurry for me to know for certain isn’t a Malibu.
Civic isn’t an Si, just a plebian sedan. The red Toyota Corolla to the left is actually a sport model which is somewhat uncommon (not exactly an Si competitor).

An OG Xsara Picasso :
Which was based on... a Xsara, this one is a pre-facelift, my neighbor had successively 2 or 3 of those, the last just like this except for the sunroof :
A facelift missing one of the chevrons :
A C3 Picasso :
A C4 Picasso I :
A C4 Grand Picasso I :
A pre-facelift C4 Grand Picasso III :
A facelift C4 Grand Picasso III :
A C4... Spacetourer (sort of the C4 Picasso III ) :
A C4 Grand Spacetourer :
A ë- Spacetourer... (the “ ë-” is the electric version of it) :
—
Bonus :
A C4 Coupé I :
A C-Quatre (only in some markets) :
A C4L II (only in some markets) :
A C4 Aircross... AKA... a Mitsubishi ASX or a Peugeot 4008 (different design though) :
A C4 Aircross II (only in China) :
Which is... a lengthier C3 Aircross which itself is replacing the C3 Picasso :
The C4 III that just started :
—
There were other variants of the C4 that i didn’t list for simplicity.
Hope it was simple...

Simple, yes. Easy, no. That’s a whole lot of converging naming conventions between the Picasso, Spacetourer, and Aircross. And then there are some random sedans and other body styles thrown under the C4 naming umbrella.
The Picassos seemed to get less bulbous and more sleek with every generation.

Unfortunately the current is also the last, there will only be CUV looking equivalent cars now :(
Like the C5 Aircross :
ps: i realized that on my previous comment i did make a typo... twice calling the C4 Picasso III instead of II. (the equivalent of the 3rd gen being the C4 SpaceTourer).

Boo! Boo! More MPVs for everyone!
I actually really like the Spacetourers in particular. They look reasonably stylish and seemed like great practical family movers.
The “Grand” doesn’t look that different but it looks like it has much more interior space. I’d take either in a heartbeat if I wanted a small people mover. Ever since the death of the Mazda5, the US hasn’t had a proper small passenger van not based on a commercial van (Transit Connect, Promaster, Metris).
Though you can’t deny the Aircrosss have more flair. I’d like to see the airbumps on the Spacetourers.
