Alarm! Recommendations?

Anyone have a recommendation for a home alarm system? We have an ancient setup that works, but needs updating. Would prefer something that we can set and monitor online.

I’ve had pretty good luck with the 2GIG units.  you can pay for monitoring-- or configure them to notify you via a variety of methods.

We have ADT. I guess it works.

Not sure what else to say about it. It definitely isn’t the cheapest option out there. They gave us a bunch of stickers and signs to post around the property though.

I’ve relied on medium sized pitbulls over the last twenty years and have never had an issue.  They’ve provided both companionship and home security, requiring only cuddles and food.

A security system won’t do anything other than alerting you that your shit has been stolen.
