Is this where I should mention that I'm 3 seconds faster than him in my Neon with all-seasons? Still, it's impressive he's even out here.

When I used to race in a muscle car class, wet events were an exercise in survival rather than speed - the guy who made it round cleanest usually won . Our lap times used to go from 15 seco nds quicker than the “classic FWD” class down to about the same as them .

There’s nothing like snap oversteer in top gear  to get your pulse going....

From what I have seen the likes of Vipers and Corvettes don’t do well on most autocross courses. They really need speed to work properly and the torquey engines make them a handful at low speeds.

Yeah, and this particular course has some incredibly tight areas.
