Nah, he shouldn’t have been laying in the road.

Some kid was hit by a car here today because he was laying on his skateboard scooting it across a crosswalk with his hands. Driver not cited, incident described as a “teaching moment” (and it sounds like the kid is relatively ok).

On one hand, I like the cars Tesla makes and hate the endless articles about how Elon Musk is RUINING the car industry and KILLING baby seals by making electric cars. On the other hand, I hate 99/100 Tesla “fans” on the internet. Car brand loyalty is stupid, and Tesla fanboys are no different from Ford or Chevy diehards who think everything from competing brands is garbage without ever stepping inside a car not from “ their” brand.

TL;DR: Car brands aren’t worthy of circlejerking over. Tesla’s no different. Every manufacturer has made good cars and bad cars. Even Mazda’s made some good stuff.
