I don’t understand. But I love the SN95.

You can buy a V6 Mustang for the price of that V6 Mustang™

I wish I could like these

It’s an old meme. Back i 2011 when Ford introduced the Mustang engines you could get a 300hp 30mpg v6 mustang for $23k. It became the pricing metric to compare to.

I think I read somewhere that thos e V6s were a 200 lb weight savings (give or take) compared to a V8.

This exact car is what got me into cars, so it’ll always have a soft spot in my heart.

I would take a bigger engine for more power. The V6 is a bit of a dog.

Yeah, y ou win some, you lose some.

With that gen Mustang you lose a lot more than you win.

One of my friends considered building a racecar out of a
90's V6 Mustang. It would have fitted well on one local endurance race class. But then
he ended up in a startup company and he
was broke long enough to forgot this weird
plan.

Is the V6 really as bad/thirsty as people say? I don’t care about power as long as it even kind of revs (I think the B23E in my Volvo is ‘sporty’)

I didn’t realize the V6 stopped sucking that early. Amazing that within a decade the V6 had entirely surpassed the previous V8 ( in HP/torque weight and MPGs)

I don’t know how thirsty it is yet, but there’s really no point in taking it to its 5250 RPM redline. My Fiesta is much more sporty.

My wife had one years ago. With a stick it was kind of fun.
