It’s a staple at any Canadian track, but not all are equal.
Right off the bat. When compaired to Poutine at Mosport it’s worse, the evidence is in the photo. Runny gravey & shredded cheese. At Mosport they use good thick gravey & cheese curds. As for the fries they are not terrible, but not as good as Mosport fries. As for the price they are the same. It’s good, but not great poutine. Mosport poutine for a visual comparison.

My track doesn't have it!

Your track sounds like it has a major problem.

You show that shredded cheese to the wrong people and suddenly we’ll be having separatist talk again.
I’m a simple man - if there’s fries, gravy, and cheese I’ll probably like it. Some are definitely better than others but I think we can all agree that naked french fries are far too healthy.

I mean I wouldn't expect poutine in BC. We're basically Canadian in name only

Canadian in name only, so what are you then?

PNW? I think most people from BC, especially Vancouver, don't feel as "Canadian" as people elsewhere.

We do chips, cheese and gravy.
Cheese curds aren’t a thing here so we use grated mild white cheddar.
Chips should not be fries size. Gravy should be thick.
Chips, cheese and gravy and a chips (and battered pork sausage) , cheese and chip shop curry sauce (and deep fried pork sausage) .
Sometimes I’ll egt the chips and cheese delivered then add the thick gravy once it arrives.

Hmmm. Interesting.
Usually places near a national border feel more nationalistic/patriotic of their country than those more central.
Where I am, people on both sides of the border (up in central and north east Scotland and those in central and southern England) think we’re Scottish.

Cool. I was going to say because there are no wealthy Chinese business men here. 50% of them run Chinese takeaways where I live.

Yeah, a different experience in certain parts of BC, Vancouver and Richmond BC especially

I mean, same. A lack of poutine is a big problem and COTA needs to hella fix it.
I’d demolish both but I think I’d even raise an eyebrow at the shredded cheese. I didn’t know places even did that! Poutine = curds, full stop.

Curds or GTFO.
