T hat’s sounds good.
Isn’t three weeks the maximum holidays you can take on Oz?
What’s your plans for this week?

each year you get 4 weeks annual leave
as for plans?
get up around the crack of noon, potter around home, mow my lawns
otherwise nothing planned, trains aren’t running thru to Melbourne, so no train travel.

Aargh, right ye’, 20 days pro rata.
I get shocked about U.S. holiday allowance, terrible.
That sounds like a good enough plan to me to be fair.
No trains for the week to Melbourne?

yup, buses only while doing work along the line. should be finished by end of this year. hopefully

Fingers crossed. I can’t imaging a bus would be all that pleasant.
Though saying that, it’s a very nice cool 9-11 C there.
But still 116Km, so I’m guessing with stops, traffic speeds, etc... about 3hrs+ either via the A300 to Geelong and then the M1 to Melbourne or the M8 direct to Melbourne.
Sorry I’ve been reading up on your place. I’m quite sad like that. I get curious about a word, place, historical person and keep going like a dog with a bone.

down the M8 still takes 2 hours by bus, painful.
