I cast this shiftknob yesterday with a mini velociraptor claw inside. I’m debating polishing it for a little more clarity. The only downside is that the threads are a little crooked so it goes on a little wonky. Still needs a day to harden up a bit more.
I’m working on some extra side panels for the Exocet (just for the front area). The weather on this week’s DWA! rally could be anywhere from 30-90F.

I need to talk with you at some point about your Exocet. I’ve developed a bit of a fancy for an Exocet Offroad, and wanted to get some perspective from an Exocet owner/builder about what’s actually involved, difficulty level, actual costs, etc. In other words I’m trying to talk myself out of it.

At first glance I read the title as “Cat Reskin Shi
tknob” and was very concerned/confused.

If you like learning and tinkering, not much I can say will talk you out of it.
However, if you’re looking for a glorified Lego set, you’ll need to look elsewhere. A lot of people have bought the kit thinking that everything just bolted together without swearing. They were sorely mistaken. The tolerances don’t always line up on parts of the kit.
