Last weekend Föne Air Base was rented out by a fantastic group of JDM enthusiasts who utilized the runway and roads as a DIY autocross track. On the other end of the runway over two kilometers away, a group of pro tour drag cars were using the same runway for test and tune on the drag cars. Indeed! What a wonderful mix of machinery they’ve assembled over there. I know I speak for all of the Oppos when I say thanks for sharing this with us. The family business is building Oldsmobiles so the “other” GM stuff is usually what gets my attention.

I will be wr iting an article on a 1963 Buick Wildcat that I documented. I too am a big fan of the B.O.P/Cad side of GM. I miss my 72 Skylark so much.
