This RSX was in the garage at work. The only visible rust color was in the paint. Very clean example. Ones this nice usually command a pretty penny on CL.

Wow, I could swear 99% of ones left in the wild were silver

I’m pretty sure they are. This is a unicorn to my eyes.

Did you try to steal it?

My folks have a black S-Type with like 250k on the clock and its still a nice, clean car.

I would have, just to keep up the honor of the brand. Alas, manual.

My aunt has a tenant that has a silver RSX. It still looks good on the outside and I was thinking of throwing her an offer until I peaked in and saw an automatic and the seats were beyond trashed oh well.

That’s a gem, and not in a very common color. Good on them.

I mean, an auto would probably be fun to drive too, and seat covers would be perfectly appropriate for it if there’s not too much rust. But even I have to admit that the whole point of getting one is to row it yourself while tossing it around.

Yeah, I really like it. It needs some freshening up, but the body and chassis are clean and straight and interior is good. My dad keeps kicking around the idea of sprucing it up and doing a little motor work, maybe going for like 250 HP. But my mom is tired of driving stick so shes pushing for a new (used) SUV.
Maybe Ill try to trade them the Volvo for it...

You should save it if you can. Good ones are getting really rare for decent prices.

I occasionally see dark blue ones here on the east coast.

And it’s a flacelift Type-S. I’d love to have one but I’d prefer the blue. This orange would be a close second tho.

We never got that body.
A colleague has just bought a 3 door 2007 Honda Civic Type-R in red.

That’s kinda cool, especially the tail lights. I do prefer the Acura, and it’s very practical with lots of storage.

The blue would be best, but I never see them. I never see this either.

That’s a fairly Acurate statement.

The rear lights are nice, these early eigh th gen Civic had a thing for triangles.
Foglights
Exhaust pipes
The flying door handles were a nice touch.
Some had a similar front end to the rear with the clear plastic where the grille is.
Others didn’t.
Then the estate came out in 2014-ish.

I think I’d like the estate with the clear plastic grille.

The 2014 estate is a ninth gen Civic.
The eighth gen was from 2005 to 2011.
The ninth gen was from 2011 to 2015.
