Is by not being inside campus during it.
As some of you may know, its the 2nd anniversary of the 2017 earthquake, and the 34th anniversary of the 1985 earthquake.
Last year we observed a national “minute of silence” to mourn the victims. Not sure how its gonna be this year. But I don’t want to be bossed around by campus security, so I’m hanging out outside
It was a great opportunity to see the new JL wrangler patrol cars that the police has:
I know that being antisocial on a drill that also commemorates the death of thousands of people is not the best way to deal with this situation but... its just the way it is

I wouldn't want to stand near that viaduct during an earthquake. Or at any other time, really, it looks extremely skeevy.
