$1600!!! That’s close to “screw it, why not” money.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Not that I have use, need, or really space for a god damn firetruck...but look at it!

OOOOOO a water truck with a fancy paint job!

I’ve always wondered what a cab-over firetruck like this would look like as a pickup. All the pump equipment and tanks should be worth the asking price.

You could build a sweet camping rig out of that

ah, a two-stroke Detroit Diesel. in goes diesel fuel, out comes noise and oil leaks.

You should do it. My dad has a friend who collects fire trucks (he has 5 of them) . Just make sure it comes with the bell (according to this friend that’s important).

My inner child would do this without a second thought. I’ve always wanted to drive a firetruck.

Do it! And repaint it like the one used in the TV show Emergency!
You’ll need to find an old Dodge to go with it...

I’d love to, I don’t really have room for something like this though and I have a feeling my wife would be a tad bit miffed if I came home with this.

My “someday” goal is to build a camper either out of a bus or a fire truck

There is an even older rig around here that rents out for parties and such to drive kids around. You could probably make back your investment with some effort. ;)

Can it fit on a Harbor Freight two post lift?

I’m sure it can, but I’m not standing under it

I think the oil leaks are how know it has oil in it. I might be worried if one of those wasn’t leaking.

Wow, $1600???
I mean, it’s also a Fire Truck, so chances are it was well-serviced as well. If you do this, I will personally give you the ‘most Oppo person ever’ award.

If I were single I’d probably have contacted him already lol. I’d have so many vehicles if I were single...I honestly don’t know if that’s good or bad.
I still would never trade that for what I have.

Might as well start your own volunteer fire department.

“ Has engine.”
Well that’s good lol.
The flames are a nice touch too.

Hell, it’s cheaper than today’s NPOCP Benz. Turbineguy votes DO IT.
There’s a local pizza biz that put a wood fired oven in an old fire truck, similar to this one in AZ. So drive a cool truck, and make a few sheckles.

Nobody would ever give you a look when you use the shoulder as a shortcut. Except the actual emergency people. They would give you a lot of looks.

Back when I was desert racing I had fantasies of turning one of these into a mad service rig. Now I’m thinking off road truck chassis
ambulance

Fire truck is always the right answer.
