Like... compared to what.
There’s nothing regular about the SSR. Also this one is manual. I want one to haul bikes around, it’d keep the cover off the bed, get some decent looking wheels, and lower it as much as possible.

Manual was only available in the extended cab 4 cylinder with no a/c or radio.

I don’t think a manual transmission was offered

They do exist. Actual a yellow one was for sale in Duluth recently. But yeah they are rare.

Manual was available I believe starting in 06 when they dropped the 6.0 in them, which is cool.

Yeah. GMT368 Chassis according to Wikipedia.
So thats 8 different cars on that chassis. 9 if you count the long wheel base Envoy.

For its first year, 2004, the SSR was only available with the 300 hp 5.3 from the full-size trucks and a 4speed slushbox. For 2005 and 2006, the standard engine was the 400 hp LS2 and a 6speed manual was optional.

I just saw one of these down in VA/MD on Wednesday, bright red, cruising up 95. I was kinda shocked how BIG it was.

Yeah. That’s why I’d lower it. And ditch the stupid running boards

And the SSR wasn’t even the lowest production volume one: https://oppositelock.kinja.com/on-the-relative-rarity-of-gm360-platform-trucks-1786314388 (shameless self plug sorry)
