Nice find! A few years ago my grandfather died, a few of my cousins and I cleaned out his “workshop”. I found a “bar in a suitcase" from the '60s. There were lots of other finds including a can of Nu Enamel, Nu-Buff. It was rusted shut.

Can we learn more about the Desoto? Pretty please??
I’m a bit of a Desoto nut.

My cousin thought it would be of more value in the "not destroyed" state it was in.

I know little about it other than its been in storage for an absurd amount of time. It's actually quite clean underneath and somewhat runs.

Congratulations! you have just earned 100 OPPO credits, which can be redeemed for a sticker or a graphic Camaro print the next time there are any. Of course, any true Oppo-naught has a bottle, jar or tub of malaise-era (that’s malaise, not mayonaise, although there are certain similarities...)y back on a shelf somewhere in the garage/shed/basement, waiting for that day we inherit a car worthy of the shine of everlasting radiance, so welcome to the club. Good times

I just want to bring it home to love and care for.
Thanks for the picture.
