Cross ram dual quad intake setup.
Chrysler used on on the 300 halo car for a few years, although it doesn’t look like your photo.
Chevy had one for the Z28 motor, offered over the counter.
The longer intake runners are tuned and fairly effective - the 300 had runners 31 inches long !

Cross Ram intakes are wild. Such long runners and crazy looking. I’m assuming that was on a Mopar?

The asymmetry was setting me off.

Looks like the block was at least. I'm not overly familiar with my 50s iron.

Its interesting that its both a fuel thing AND a hood clearance thing. The more you know! Thanks

That looks fun to tune properly

I wouldn’t think it would be worse than any other dual quad setup, but then again, I’ve never owned a car with multiple carburetors.

426 Max Wedge. Probably a clone ‘63 or ‘64 Fury (most seem to be). ‘ 62 brought the 413, also w/offset quads. Then the 4 26 wedge, which was a p recursor to the ‘64-’65 Race Hemi, which had offset dual quads as well. All for for fighting 406, 409, and 421s in NHRA SuperStock racing.

I’m glad I don’t have OCD because even now I’m hating that asymmetry
