So, a few weeks ago there was a women’s march in Mexico City, and the protestors vandalized the angel of independence.
Coincidentally, immediately after the march, the government placed a fence around the monument, claiming that maintenance work due to damage in an earthquake 2 years ago was due. Blocking view of the most striking graffiti.
I don’t mind what they did, and while some celebrate it and some lament it; now the question is.... should we leave the angel vandalized? If so u ntil when?
Lets remember Avenida de la Reforma is famous for its Anti- !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

My feeling is don’t leave vandalization. If the monument was vandalized because the monument itself is repugnant, then it should probably come down. Otherwise just restore it.

It is being restored because of the earthquake, but I think the feminist want it to stay that way until their demands are met, and historians, architects, and artists across Mexico are divided on the topic.

Late comment, but I think that eye chart poster is pretty clever.
