So I’m drinking this, it’s pretty good, I now have my 1er back, and I can reflect on the X3 30i Xdrive. I would totally recommend one to anyone in the segment, but not to anyone who wants a proper BMW. It’s just too fucking numb. I realize why X3 drivers are such cockbags, there’s absolutely no feel or feedback from anything. There’s no sense of speed, the steering in sport plus mode, (yes, there’s a sport and sport plus mode) is just the same as comfort mode, but heavier. Also the head up display is pretty much impossible to see with polarized sunglasses.

I have the same problem with my head up display. I have to lift my head to see it. Kind of annoying but not enough to give up my polarized shades.

I test drove a X1 Xdrive 35i and quite liked it. It was a genuinely nice place to be and it was rather quick and fun to drive. Ended up buying the hybrid RAV4 for my wife that she loves too.

My sunglasses are prescription, and I only found out that the car had a functioning head up display once I put my regular glasses on.

Had a bottle of Trooper the other day.
Have no idea how long the bottle cap designs have been a thing.
