I wouldn’t mind one of those. It would be a fun car to fully stance to hell.

My sister had a manual 96 wagon in grape purple. She loved it and had it until about 2007. Drove it like stolen most of the time.

They rev way faster than they should. Need to fix my SC2...

These were high on my list of Rallycross cars to replace the RallyMetro, before reality set in.

Love them, Judging by bumpers and doorhandles it’s a single cam, (slow but 40+ mpg) My 99 twincam wagon was one of my favourite cars, and surprisingly quick.

They also have the “not designed as a wagon” quirk of Strut towers in the cargo area, Complete with a latchable tower brace that has the option of keeping the brace up with the seats down. (also the latch for this is ALWAYS broken).

I must buy one now. I NEVER see Saturns anymore except maybe a Sky every once in a moon. I love wagons and I love weird cars. I’m willing to bet they aren’t seen much because they have all been driven into the ground by high school students as hand me downs. I wonder how their weird (I think it was plastic?) body handles salty roads as I split my time in NC and WI and WI loves their salted roads...

I w orke d at a Saturn dealer at the end of the original car’s run. When its warm out you can kick the panel with everything you’ve got. In extreme Canadian-style cold they shatter in a collision. There were bad cars and good ones. All the bad ones have been crushed, so most remaining Saturns are of the ‘cockroach’ variety and will run forever.

They handle well, the wagon body is so twisty under abuse that you can hear the door rubbers unsealing under hard cornering. That said it went around every corner I asked it to.
