Finally captured my first win at S eekonk Speedway. This was after two laps prior, the car I was battling with hit me under red flag conditions and stalled my car. After being heartbroken that my car wouldn’t res tart, and realizing once the tow truck was pushing me that the transmission was in “D,” the car fired right up, and I rejoined the other cars. Once green flew again, I took off and never looked back. Can’t wait to do it all again. Hearing all the kids screaming “Grumpy Cat!” a s I dro ve by, and the three that wanted an autograph and pictures with me, was better than winning, and as you can see in the picture, winning felt really good.

Congrats and l et this be a lesson to all that a fun livery is worth a ton of goodwill.
My daughter’s favourite car at last year’s IMSA race was a hot pink Mazda run by a part timer (a Dr I think) way at the back of the pack in a subclass. She’d jump up and down any time it came around.

They’re called enduros. You take any hard top vehicle (or cover the sunroof hole i f it has one) strip it out, change the coolant with water, secure the doors and bumpers, and have at it. Everything from Grand Prixs to Golfs to Crown Vic’s to minivans can run. The class is usually dominated by 2002-ish Maxima SE’s.
