Ugh, terrible. I don’t think there’s much possibility that the grifting cabal will be booted, barring some kind of catastrophe - and 45 admitting that he is a bigoted economically ignorant turd isn’t an emergency at all when it comes to the base.

I am pretty certain 45 will win again, based on the devotion of his fanatical base, the inability of the few sane Rs left to stand up to him, and the even louder inability of the opposition to present a convincing candidate. Deplorables vote, and in a gerrymandered unjust system, they have a head start.

VDH once again brings his cred into question, too. A supposed academic should know better. “The economy is booming” - the stock market is not the economy. “Near-animal energy” - sometimes 45 appears to be suffering a mental or physical breakdown, he’s obviously heavier and shorter than he claims, and likely couldn’t run around the block. Tweeting on the porcelain throne after another 10000 calorie day does not equal energy. And the ending is iffy too - I don’t know if any credible source who is doubting 45's chances in 2020. Certainly not with the way Ds have failed to put something together so far.

VDH, like Trump, represents some of the most hated aspects of his generation, who will in many cases be noted as takers. Hard to take his screed seriously.

My grandma is an old school Catholic. She loathes 45 with every fiber of her being, which amuses me. She’s religious, but not regressive (pro gay rights, pro immigration, etc). We’ll see how the SC goes.

It feels like every news release could be a parody from “The Onion”. Some will whatabout with Bush, but this is the worst regime in modern history, if not American history as a whole. I mainly tune in to financial news now, which is depressing as I think there’s a storm brewing.
