I wouldn't drive a Moke in modern traffic, would you?

I’ve never driven one so I would drive it in any condition given the opportunity. That said, in beach traffic? ...F or sure. In regular traffic? Prob not.

No, but I might rent one to go from a vacation condo to the beach. Location would be the key factor.

To get this Moke from its location to any sort of condo you’d have to drive on 45mph main roads to the next town over.

That would be a location fail.

I’m not sure I believe any road on the Vineyard can really be considered a main road? Maybe the road between Edgartown and West Tisbury (near Edgartown)? I feel like the busy roads aren’t fast, and the roads where people drive faster are pretty empty.

Has to be a safer way to cart your family around than the rental scooters right?

I would.

Al the roads between towns are main roads because they’ re the only way to get around.

It looks like one of those Chinese clones, so is possibly electric.

In traffic? No.
Anywhere else? Yes.

Up to maybe 35 mph* , probably.
* To be clear, I mean actual traffic speed, not speed limit.
So maybe speed limit of 25 or 30, tops.

It’s based on the old mini iirc so I’m sure it could keep up with non-freeway traffic and not get squished with enough situational awareness . Also we well know rental cars are some of the fastest in the world. 10/10 would rent
