Pretty reliable through early November, but September -October are prime. After early November it can snow, rain etc...

That’s awesome! Well, other than your friends flaking out, that part sucks.

I love the Blue Ridge mountains, but the more I see of big mountain/elevation stuff, the more I want to go west and ride.
