The fact that he has the stock parts makes me think it isn’t stolen. $5,500 for a modified CRX that hasn’t run in a decade and a half seems about right. Decent runners are listed for $3-4k in my AO. A former employee of mine DD’d a few CRXs that he got for $1k (about three years ago). If you can speak Spanish and negotiate, you can save a lot of money on old Hondas. BaT is for guys who can do neither.

Yeah, something’s wrong there, most likely. With all of those good parts you’d think it would be worth more, but a bad engine and other priorities probably means he just wants the garage space back.

I’ve had collections of great stuff from previous hobbies that I just didn't want anymore. There were some people that got great deals on my old stuff just because I didn't care enough to try to get market rate and was just happy that my stuff for in the hands of people who wanted it rather than it ending up in a recycling bin or landfill.

Ugh. My first car I ever bought was a 1985 CRX Si. I would like this car very much. But wait! A quick search shows this rougher one with many more miles for $1800, probably more in my budget.
